The Board of Directors of Tahoe Paradise Recreation and Park District (Paradise Park) invites you to visit the park on Saturday morning, June 1st, to participate in the unveiling of six magnificent interpretive signs installed around Lake Baron. The 36" X 24" signs, developed by the staffs of the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC) and the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science (TINS), with input from students and teachers at the Lake Tahoe Environmental Science Magnet School, present color photos and explanatory text about the park's animals, plants, geology, history, recreational activities, and water features.
Please join us on the patio of the park recreation building at 10:00am for recognition of the generous organizations and individuals whose support has made this marvelous addition to your park possible. Following this brief presentation, Staff members of TERC and TINS will lead a walk around Lake Baron to view and discuss each sign. Tahoe Paradise Park is located at 1011 E. San Bernardino in Meyers. In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled to June 8th. The Board of Directors of Tahoe Paradise Recreation and Park District.
