On the banks of the Upper Truckee River is one of Tahoe's little known gems. Tahoe Paradise Park provides numerous ways to spend a great lazy day. There are really two different sections of the park. The upper section holds Lake Baron, which provides fishing opportunities as well as excellent calm for paddle boarding and kayaking. Additionally, you will find the tennis courts here as well as the clubhouse and a beach for swimming.
The lower section, along the banks of the Upper Truckee River, holds the playground, ball field, basketball court, and a large picnic area with group and individual areas and numerous hiking & mountain biking trails throughout. The park is administered by the Tahoe Paradise Recreation & Park District and the clubhouse or group areas can be reserved for events.
